A Project for my color Photo Class, in portrayal of a person.
So, these images need a certain amount of explanation. They are about an Experience I had one day while taking a nap. Theres a phenomenon called sleep paralysis where a person is sleeping and when they wake up they dont totally wake up...they're conscience but they dont have any motor skills, they are paralyized. It only last a matter of seconds, but due to the nature of the phenomenon and how the person is still kind of half asleep hallucinations are very common. And a very common Hallucination is to sense that something, or someone is present in the room with the sleeper. According to some research Ive done a common thought is that this phenomenon is caused, or at leats more present in humans with high amounts of social anxeity, and since my assignment was to portray this person I delved into this aspect of the event as well. This is basically what the series is about, enjoy and note that most of the exposures are around 30 seconds, so forgive the blurring.

I have experienced this for about ten years. When it first happened I swear I had just gone to bed. I didn't feel I even fell to sleep yet.
