Wow, I havent submitted in a long long time! Mostly cause of three things 1 FFXI 2 New PS2/Xenosaga 2 and 3 work!....work sucks

A little while back i was messing around on photoshop and I ended up drawing a hand, random I know, but I 'drew' the hand using somewhat odd methods (I think feel free to correct me) but I would make the basic shape of say a finger as a mask then use liquify/smudge tools to change it into a more exact shape and then go to the actual layer and add in the shading then another layer for the textures and colors of the finger or whatever, and I kept on doing this untill I had a hand that looked pretty good (at least to me it did). Anyways I had found my own little way of drawing things in photoshop(no clue if anyone else does it this way) and I set out to make a slightly more ellaborate more interesting piece and this is what I came up with.

This piece was lets say....95% made from scratch and 98% made entirly by me (huzzah) the parts that wernt from scratch and that werent made by me....well youll probably never see em they dont exactly show up too much at this res....oh wait the whole arm, my bad. Anyways the arm was a quicky photo I shot and used for 'reference', I traced it pretty much. The other parts were....well it actually has arm hair...and skin textures, but you cant see them at this resolution. The part that wasnt made by me was the face. This is cause i cant actually draw for shit and the chances that my little stratagy would work for a face was slim to none...so I looked through the files on my comp till i found a pic that had a face that had the right angel (straight on) for the pic. The picture was one of 's stock pics and i turned her into a dude...heh the guy looks a little girly though...but again the res is toned down so much that i didnt even really need to say that and no one would have ever noticed...shit even at full resolution i really doubt anyone would make the connection.

So....im talking a lot here got a good ol' fashon ramble goin here.

Ok this pic took probably....shit i cant remember 5-7days? inbewteen work and everything else i was working on this i think the wing that bends over him was tyhe first day....then the next wing went a lot faster and i started on the body....then the face and coloring the body....then a few days in making the back ground...and dealing with EVIL EVIL high res, fuck it slows the crap outta my computer. ohh you could even count the day or so i played with the original that looked like shit and i scrapped...but i kept the idea going! Speaking of ideas going....I kinda got lkazy on one part, that youll prolly never see, i was going to make two things of water spiraling around him...and i made em they turned out 'ok' but in the end...i felt the whole picture looked better with out em. I couldnt get the perspective right on them and I couldnt get the textures right either so i scrapped em, probably a good day of work down the old tube.

So i think im done talking now....feel free to make any comments ya want...i know this crap aint perfect
